A Covered Jar

The students are keeping busy enough for me to get a little work done as well. Today I finished up this slab jar with a turned lid. Think it turned out ok.

Coils in Progress...4th period

We are hard at work trying to get our first practice coil done.  This is harder than pinch pots.  Here are some pictures of what we have so far:

Our final coil project will be a mug with a face and a handle on it.

We have started our coil projects, and are making some progress.  A couple of the students have finished their first practice pot and are working on practice number two.  Here are some pictures of coil pots being built by the students:
